1. Summary

Thermal turns your day into a receipt using data already on your device (such as photos and health information). Personal content used to generate receipts is processed on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. We do not operate a backend that collects your photos, videos, or health data.

2. Information We Access

With your permission, the App may access:

• Photos and videos — to count today’s media, read basic metadata (for example date/time and location tags when available), and create photo/video receipts. Media is processed on-device.
• Health data (for example steps, distance, active energy, sleep, workouts) — to generate Today’s Receipt and related receipt types. Health data is read only; the App does not write health data.
• Device / app settings you choose — for example theme, language, filter preferences, onboarding completion, and permission flags. These are stored locally on your device (for example via system preference storage).

You can deny or revoke permissions in your device settings. Some features may not work without the related permission.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, receive, or store on our servers:

• Your photo or video libraries
• Your health/fitness records
• Generated receipt content as a permanent cloud archive
